The setting is Dark Harbor, Maine. The year is 1889.

Nathan Courtwright is being dragged through the woods to his death.
His captors are his father Nathaniel Courtwright and his two brothers,
Jerediah and Chad. Nathan is the family black sheep who disgraced his
family by going against the family feud and hooking up with a Stanford
and then murdering his bride-to-be.

They drag Nathan kicking and screaming to the mausoleum where they will
chain him to a wall and leave him to die. His father has given him a
gift.
A gift Jake has turned to no good. Evil has devoured his reason and his

soul and his father know's he must be put to his final rest.

Skip forward to the present day. Jake Corsetti and his brother own a
struggling construction company. Struggling because of his brothers
greed
and high lifestyle. Jake has one last chance at making some money and
getting out before his brother brings them both down.
As Jake is working on the Courtwright Drug and Rehabilitation Center he
hears a strange calling in his head. It's coming from behind a wall in
the
old Courtwright mausoleum. When he can't deny the calling anymore, he
breaks down the wall and all hell breaks loose for Jake. He goes
completely berserk and kills his foreman in a fit of flying blood and
crushing bone. This is only the beginning of the evil that will spread
through the small town.

Paul Stanford grew up in Dark Harbor. A child of an emotionally abusive
father and a physically abused mother, Paul can't deny the need to move
away from his hometown and his first love Jenny. As much as he loves her

he just can't bring himself to stay.

Ten years later, after running from the nightmares that have plagued
him,
he's returned to Dark Harbor and Jenny. His fear of her refusal of him
just about outweighs his fears of the horrible nightmares and strange
voices that invade his mind. What ensues when he returns home are
horrible
murders in his small town and an evil that stalks him with a vengeance.
But on the flip side to this awful horror is Jenny. The love of his life
and
perhaps his only savior.

NIGHT DEMONS is truly gripping! I have to say that this is my favorite
book to date by Mr. Hopkins. I'm a big Stephen King fan and I felt like
I was reading one of Mr. Kings books right from page one and all the way

to the end. From the very start of NIGHT DEMONS I felt the same excited
anticipation that only Stephen King has been able to give me in a horror

book.

Mr. Hopkins delighted me with his visual detail and his excellent way
with
words. He has written a great book of horror and suspense and I loved
every single minute of NIGHT DEMONS. I was so surprised and absolutely
thrilled while I was reading, to find that Mr. Hopkins had surpassed
himself. I didn't think it was possible.

If you love true horror, the kind that really creeps you out and won't
let you read without all the lights on, then you will absolutely love
NIGHT
DEMONS! I haven't been this frightened by a book in quite a while and I

loved it! Mr. Hopkins is a true master at scaring the socks off you. He
sure didn't hold back his imagination while leading me through a hell of

a terrifying ride.

I've been an admirer of Mr. Hopkins work for quite a while, but now I
consider myself one of his biggest fans. Grab NIGHT DEMONS if you
sincerely want the scare of your life!
