Carol Anne,Theodore,and William are 3 young siblings that sneak out on their family's motor-boat,get caught in a storm,and end up on a tropical island that's inhabited by all sorts of mythical creatures,from mermaids and unicorns,to centaurs,man-eating plants, and talking snakes.The three children learn to help each other thrive and survive on the island,until one day,after 6 months marooned on the island,they get a chance to escape and the book concludes with how all 3 kids have to adapt to being back in society,once again.
This was a fun book for me to write.It's about three children who take their family's motor-boat out for a spin while on vacation,and they get stuck in a surprise storm,and get stranded on a deserted island,with all these strange,mythical/mystical creatures,including mermaids,centaurs,unicorns,dragons,even a talking snake.They eventually must band together to save each other from all these dangerous situations,including falling into quick-sand-traps and being eaten by gigantic,talking snakes,and quick-sand-trap monsters. They end up getting off the island and live to tell their tales.
Danielle and Nina are rescued from their wicked step-mother by Emma the Yellow Dream Train who takes them on adventures. When Nina learns she has the ability to speak to animals, Emma and the other trains teach her how to use it.
