The Harvest of Souls Crossover Part II Battle Continues is a story that is exciting, vigorous, and full of suspense about the fight of good and evil in two realms. The Howdy Family is determined to defeat the world of darkness, led by the seemingly undefeatable dark world leader, Shuby. The battle continues.
Meanwhile, back where Granny P was, she had fallen to her knees and started to weep. She tore a part of her shirt and covered Grandpa Howdy's face.

VA McCloud’s Harvest of Souls Crossover Part II Battle Continues. A brief note written by husband of Granny P presets placed as a prologue sets the mood for the narrative. The Reader quickly becomes aware Granny P is crumpled unconscious on the ground as the sounds of battle swirl.
We soon meet a gloating Shuby; he revels in the understanding that the Howdy family has been decimated; and is cheered by the notion that he will soon locate the Forefathers and in so doing will have the half of the Book of Souls he needs and for which he has been so desperately searching.
The crowd of spectators who only minutes before had been watching the combat, as though it may have been an entertainment; are now very aware of their error, as well as the danger that mistaken belief might now bring to them.
As the narrative continues, Readers will meet HBK; who can inflict death immediately, SicDi who can cause illness and PoPo Boy whose utterance, Poverty, causes the crowd to age more quickly, as clothing becomes tatters.
Despair abounds. Grandpa Howdy’s grandchildren Peacemaker and, Faithful as well as an aged personage standing six-feet-tall who walked with a cane and was wearing a lacey white dress and white hat will have roles to play as the account progresses.
The Reader is taken to another part of the battle site where we find siblings Thunderbolt, Meek, and Songbird. The trio remember their Grandfather Howdy’s teaching especially what they should do in times of upset and begin offering a sacrifice of praise.
The narrative continues with the ongoing battle raging as Granny P, Peacemaker and Faithful ‘stand in the gap’ praying and seeking help for others in the family.
Shuby’s wicked ways appear to have caught up with him, the ugliness of his behavior begins to appear on his face.
The battle continues to rage, more characters including mysterious Lucy Lightbulb, Pastor Telikitis, MeMe, Greedy Fish, Ginnie Pig, are introduced.
The Reader is drawn into the excitement and confusion presented on the pages of Harvest of Souls Crossover Part II Battle Continues as the forces of good and evil and compete for rulership.
Writing is energetic, filled with lots of action likely to appeal to the target audience of upper middle grades, high school and young adult readers while the narrative carries a life value message without sounding overly advisory or preachy.
I received an arc for review and have not read part I; it IS a little difficult to pick up the story, if reading the narrative of part 2 without FIRST reading part 1.
Happy to Recommend Harvest of Souls Crossover Part II Battle Continues for the target audience, and suggest Reader reads Part 1 before beginning Part 2.

This a wonderful and exciting book the speaks volume on it's own. The characters and the plot is explosive. The various emotions the reader will experience is a lot to be said, sadness, laughter, anger and more.
The thrill of wanting to know what will happen next is uncontainable. I have truly enjoyed the 1st book as well with the introduction of everyone in the story line, so now with the Crossover part II, it is truly a "Can't Put Down" now type of reading. I look forward to future series of more books to follow.
The author her self has a true gift from God to have such a powerful concept in creative writing.
I highly recommend this book for the entire family to read.

This book, Part 2 was another jaw dropper. As with Part 1 I tried to put it down after each chapter but couldn't. At the end of the book I had to put it down because there was no more to read. And again I, the reader was left wanting more courage, strength, God! As I read the book I imagined myself in the children's places, what I would do. I tried to figure out if the characters were related in some way. The book shows deception among the deceitful ones. The author has an imagination that is so captivating. The suspense and colorful dialog between the villain, children and other characters are so realistic. Present Day! As n elementary educator my eyes were like the eyes of my students-wide open and begging to keep reading on. I'm praying that the Lord continues to bless VA McCloud to write a series of inspirational books and prayerfully the books will become a television series. A movie! Write On, I'm waiting.
Love, romance, innocence, intrigue, danger, and lust. Life is complicated, and love even more so. Life, and love, can be hazardous to a lady's health. Especially if she's fallen in love with a married pop star.
