The slight booklet by Ms Buesser touches upon a number of very big subjects. She is a mother of three children one of whom is autistic , another afflicted with Apraxia and still another deceased. Compounding these challenges , her husband died prematurely leaving her to contend alone with the extremely daunting misfortunes . How she confronts and contends with these challenges is inspirational , and example of courage, devotion and resourcefulness that she thankfully shares with her readers to whom it is indeed a gift

This little book was a nugget of information on a topic that the majority of people in the U.S. have probably heard but know little about.
It took tremendous courage for you Jeanne to put very personal events in your life and your sons' lives down on paper for the world to read.
This chapter in your sons' lives gives the reader a glimpse into the specific happenings of yourself and your family which in turn will help those who read about how your sons' special needs affected you, them, and those around them.
Hopefully the information in this publication will enable those people involved with special needs children and/or adults to ensure they are as informed and functioning as best as possible in the world they live in.
Again, Jeanne thank you for your patience in recording your story for us to read and to understand.

As a retired special educator I was able to relate to the definitions within this book so well.
I really admire Jeanne for sharing her story through the lenses of her sons, and her life shared with them.
The reading of her book, 'Water Line' allows others not experiencing similar life issues to understand the magnitude and impact of parenting children with unique needs, but with a sprit of understanding.
I have to say that I applaud you for telling your story, Jeanne.
Your sons are so blessed to have you as their mother, and you are pretty lucky too, having boys who work so hard at their craft.
Faith and perseverance does pay off!
Let this coming of age story of a boy named Bean take you back to a simple time. Set in a small southern town in the 1960's, encircled by a river and gleaming white cotton fields.
