She had been told to drive the speed
limit and stop at all stop signs and red lights until she
got home and to park the SUV in the lot behind the
house. Trees would obscure it so it couldn’t be seen
from the road. The digital clock on the dashboard in
front of her read 12:30 a.m. Jenny was too nervous to
think to turn on the air conditioner. Her eyes were
burning as she wiped the salty sweat from them. A
police car was behind another car at her left, and she
gasped, tightening her grip on the steering wheel.
Several cars were in the lanes behind her. The old
blue pick-up truck was several cars behind her in her
lane and had followed her all the way through Punta
Gorda and into Port Charlotte. She strained to see the
driver, but the windows had a dark tint. Hold steady,
wait for the green light. Jenny wanted to take off but
had been instructed not to draw attention to herself.
There. The green light. Almost home.
Strange to write my own review, but here goes...
If you like slasher books this will not do. It’s about regular folks living normal lives who
suddenly become involved in a series of murders! One of my favorite parts is the chapter where the killer explains him or herself! That is some chapter! Book has Christian bones so no swearing and no sex... sorry guys! One person who read my book said it was like watching a movie❤️ It could be a movie! There are many twists and turns and when you finally think you’ve figured out who the murderer is, there’s another curve...you know you cannot see what’s coming around a curve! This book is an easy read, takes just hours to read it.... there will be a sequel if this book sells😁
