Today I have decided to be a writer. Well maybe I am not going to be a writer in the usual sense. I am in love with the idea of being a writer. What a romantic scene, sitting in a small, quiet room with an old desk and typewriter and no sounds but the ones I hear in my own mind. They are the sounds of different ideas bouncing around inside my head. They really have nowhere to go, these thoughts and pictures, because they remain trapped within my imagination. Their only hope for escape is if I can put them into words. Then perhaps by putting these thoughts on paper they will take on a life of their own beyond the limitations of my own ability to explain them.
