If my memory serves me—which it doesn’t always—this is a book of true short stories retelling my travels down the road of life. 

 Before opening the book, the reader should know a few things I believe:

      1. Endings are beginings

       2. Life is a ray of sunshine, a drop of rain and a rainbow.

       3. Don’t condemn the farmer’s wife who chased them with a carving knife. The only good rat is a dead one.

       4. If it’s your first shave, never put ‘shaving’ and ‘real quick’ in  the same sentence.

       5. Common sense is no substitute for tradition.

       6. When faced with a new contraption—wait for directions.

       7. Never worry about the detours in life for they are the expressways of Life.

       8. Never cast a spell unless you mean it.

       9. Never say never.

      I write with a tear in my eye, a lump in my throat and a smile on my lips, waiting to erupt into laughter, in the hopes that I would evoke the same response in my reader.
