Dollars & Diamonds is a fiction story based on three funny characters that live in a sea side town called Brighton. Their lives are monitored by each other as many adventures take them on a wild rose tinted existence of gossip and shopping, but underneath all the glamour the taste of loneliness is far more within reach than any designer label.
Jean and Tammy Tammy have been friends for a long time. One night Tammy holds a dinner party and drunkingly fixes Jean up with one of the guests, so just to please her best friend , Jean goes along with it and soon arranges to go on a date with her new admirer . On the night of the fated date , Jean and Tammy end up at a nightclub and it is there that Tammy also gets a boyfriend. It is at this nightclub they meet the glamour queen Bobette, super slim, glamourous, legs as long as spiders and with botex filled lips to die for, who would not want to friend her. So it certainly did not matter that she had an attitude lip pout and talons that any bird of prey would envy. Truth was behind the false white smiles Jean was lonely and so needed another best friend now that Tammy had netted herself a boyfriend and also behind the comfort of a mound of growing possessions Jean deep down would prefer to be window shopping for the man of her dreams instead of a designer bag, So where was he ? She was intelligent, had a successfull beauty salon and tons of love to give , So why did she always end up with the wrong ones ! Bobette would for sure be her knight in shining pink, wouldnt she ! ! !
They live for Dollars because unlike love Diamonds are forever.
So dare you venture into their world and witness the highs and lows and experience their antics all with in A kiss and tell Brighton. Jean , Tammy and Bobette are hilarious, serious, shocking and at times happy.

Excerpt
Once back in Brighton, we went straight back to mine to gather all the holiday gifts. Bobette promised to do a present run and so take my gifts to Sheena's and Leroys for me. We then drove straight to Tam's to pick up China. Tam was busy with Lance, and I was feeling tired so we didn't stay long. But she thanked me for her handbag and told me that she was chuffed to now have her own personal bull. As Bobette dropped me off at mine, she thanked me for her spurs and told me we should go riding sometime, we then gave each other a good full-on bear hug, said our good nights, and parted. I waved immensely as I stood and watched my best friend drive away. 'C'mon, China,boy,let's go in,' I told my handful of love as a smile escaped my lips as the memories of the day still remained fresh in my mind. The next day soon arrived and it was going to be good, for both China and I had awoke to a glorious hot one, so I did not want my little gold-digger to miss out on this grab it as you can weather. So trying not to feel love sick for Chinas sake, I grabbed all our beach babe things and made my way to the beach with China tightly gripping my hand as his sensitive little nose expertly scanned the air to inhale the sea's breeze for any passing scents. When we arrived, I found us a stamp-sized patch of unoccupied beach. So I quickly un rolled the blanket to make our claim before anyone else tried to take it. I then sat us both down and began to unpack our things, whilst China in the meantime gave a little growl to anybody that came near. 'I wish I had four arms, ' I thought as I glanced at the person next to me, I knew I needed help, any help would do, so with chest pushed out and stomach sunk in, I gave my biggest smile, and with a flutter of eyelash power, I now flirtingly leant over to ask The seal with The Human Head, if he would rub some S-Factor into my back. 'be my pleasure' drooled the 'I haven't touched a woman in ages, human whale. I now told China to be good, as my new beach friend suddenly straddled me like a Sumo wrestler holding down his opponent. China looked away in disgust, as Ten fat sausage fingers made their attack. 'what happened to rubbing the sun cream in,? I thought as my body began to loosen more and more to the strangers touch. 'I'm William', said the weight on my back. 'Hi, I'm Jean', I replied. 'You got a boyfriend '? asked William. 'No', I replied. 'Want one?' asked the excited voice. 'No,' I again replied. 'Well', said William. 'Maybe you would let me buy you a fish and chip supper washed down by a pint?' 'You don't know me and you're asking me out on a beach date!' I said. 'I know your back, so that's a start', replied William as his fat fingers began to kneed me like I was some freshly made dough. 'Well,if you want to upgrade from my back, you're going to have to buy me a Vodka and Coke instead of a pint ' I advised. 'It's a deal,' replied the Sumo wrestler as he now removed his weight to go get me some fish and chips.

This book is not like any other. You have to have certain sense of humor. Its not for everyone. But try it out, you might br surprised.
