I’m writing the words in this little book to challenge you, to inspire you, to dare you. I dare you not to take another thought. I know you must be saying to yourself, “what in the world does she mean, that she’s daring me not to think?” How could I possibly get through my everyday life, without my thoughts? Well, I am glad you asked me this question. This is the exact place I wanted to bring you to. This is your place of awakening!
I'm daring you to stop right here and now, in this present moment. In the place of "no thought."
To be still and know, even as you are known. I dare you not to think about your yesterdays! I dare you not to think about your tomorrows! I even dare you not to think about your today! Where would you be without all those thoughts rushing in, at every moment of your life? They burst though at full force, beating against the walls of your mind. The never-ending fierce winds and raging storms, pouring in with the power and might of a hurricane. There you stand, caught in the middle; trapped by the eye of the storm. You are being tossed to and fro, by every wind of doctrine. Why do you stand there, kicking against the pricks? Haven't you lived in your life of deception long enough? What has holding on to your imagined life, done for you, so far? Aren't you ready to lay down the madness? I know a place where the yoke is easy, and the burden is light. In this place, you can find rest for your weary soul. The love, peace, and hope that we all need and desire, starts from within, and is then poured outwardly. Viewing our world from the inside out, allows us to walk in the hope, joy and beauty of the true light.
I welcome every hurt and suffering soul, you who are filled with disease and self-loathing: open your heart and mind, to allow love to take away your guilt, your pity, and your shame. Love will reach down to where you are, right within your pit of emptiness. Bruised, battered and hurting child of God: feeling void of hope and without direction for tomorrow, open up your heart and enter Heaven's Open Door. There is a place located within the depths of your very own heart, where mind, body and soul are joined "as one." In this place you can taste and see for yourself, that the Lord is Good. Come along with me, and enter this place for yourself. Be still and know: watch as your very own life existence is changed forever for the better.
As you read though the pages of this little book, have an ear to hear what the Spirit is saying to You, "The Church Without Walls." Your body is the temple of the "Living God." This is the Secret Place where the "Most High" dwells. The Kingdom of Heaven, is with you. If you have the courage to put my challenge to the test, then follow my simple plan of action: First, find the place of silence for yourself, within yourself. Secondly, go forth to enter that silence, embrace it. Thirdly, go even further to become "One" with that silence: For My Father and I are "One" in the same. He who dwells in the secret place of the "Most High", shall abide under the shadow of the "Almighty".
Now take off the shoes from your feet, for the place where you are now standing is:
"Holy Ground."
