The Psychic Son is WONDERFUL!
At first, it took me a while as I read the first chapter, grasp the author’s style. Once I understood what was happening and where the story was going, I was thoroughly involved in Dominic's dilemma and his life, his concerns, and his fears as he encountered tragedy in the lives of people around.
What impressed me more than anything was the dynamics of Dominic's family. In this day and age, and what many children are missing today is seeing and experiencing family harmony; in The Psychic Son, it was the parent's acceptance of Dominic's psychic ability and the mother's willingness to share a family secret. Then there was Dominic's understanding, admiration, and acceptance of his parent's and the lives they lead. The author wrote a beautiful novella expressing love and understanding and a special gift. A gift to be used for good, not evil.
The characters are well developed. The story was amazing. The author subtly shows how all their lives are interwoven with Dominic as he discovers his gift and ability. I hated that this story had to end. I wanted more.
I look forward to Mr. Galvez's next book.
You Cannot Put This DOWN!
The Psychic Son is the first book I have read that I could really connect with. The author Chris Galvez writes in such detail that you can vision it in your mind as if you were watching a motion picture. If you do or even doubt about paranormal happenings, gifts or whatever you choose the word to be then you will truly be able to understand that maybe you were chosen to be special.

I classify myself as 'Knowing' , seeing in dreams and visions. I also see in the Spirit Realm.
I do not read Fiction, therefore when I came upon Psychic Son on Twitter I was curious as to it's content. I contacted Mr. Galvez, and after a brief conversation I purchased his book.
As a person who lives this subject daily I can tell you that you will not be disappointed. I saw myself in every stage of my life starting as a baby in a crib to today in every page of this book.
You will not be disappointed. His style is smooth with punches of reality that hit me hard in my Spirtual gut.
This is a must read. He is writing a new one now. Can't wait for it to come out. He is my new favorite author
I'm a science fiction writer writing on the science side avoiding all of the paranormal fringe areas beginning with astrology and religion. I find that many who proclaim to be psychic are actually pathological manipulators. I am an identical twin, and although my brother and I, when we were together, would often get the same idea, largely because we were experiencing the same things at the same time, would form our ideas the same way. But now, with him a thousand miles away, I do not feel his pain from his hip requiring replacement, or his recent bout with his heartbeat speeding and having to have it slowed down surgically. He has had to email me those revelations.
However, writing from the other side of science, someone with premonitions about future events can certainly shape the future for the better. And that's what your story is about from the little that I've read. It's like all the currently impossible time travel stories, shaping the future. I have been a lifelong futurist, but many of my personal use of my understanding of the future, like not installing natural gas in a home I built in 1980, turned out totally wrong. Fracking came along, making the United States flush with natural gas and prices plummeted rather increasing with deregulation.
I'm too busy and have promised other authors, so I won't be reading your book. But, based on the TV I'm watching, there's a huge demand for this kind of stuff and you have great reviews on your side. It looks like you may have a book that sells when many do not. Continued good luck with your follow-up books.
