Sound like its going to ammount to a lovely story. Thank God I don't feel I have to jump off a cliff to get God's atention. But that's one hell of a story grabber. If I had the book in front of me I'd finish it tonight. Does she eventually fall for him but then at the end when he has to leave, he tells her he is divine providence and that no, motals and God's don't mix, yet although she is sad he faith has been renewed enough to go on. Or maybe he falls even harder for her and Gabriel is somehow happy for them both and they do a kind of pact so that he can stay on for a while but he wants to be human full time and has to give up his divine status for that. Oh the lengths we would walk for love.
