Edited by Thomas Long, Jr. The anthology of the contest behind the same name. This is the contest where the horror stories followed the theme of Reality TV shows, here it is. This book will notably mark the print debute of three more of the horror genre's bad boys: Terry Lloyd Vinson, Nicholas Mounts, and Nickolaus A. Pacione, editor of Tabloid Purposes. Stories in here go for the throat while poking fun at Reality TV shows.

This collection is the anthology that was done in the contest of the same name. I will comment on three of the stories because I read two of them before they were submitted and will say they are damn good. My story was one that is a submission that almost wasn't but now it can be said it is a relative of the original story that was supposed to be in there called House of Spiders. Thomas knew what was scary when he picked the authors -- this will mark the print debute of myself, Nicholas S. Mounts, and a few others who've only been published online. The collection is the brainchild of Thomas Long, Jr. and he deserves the credit for putting this beast together of horror and suspense writers. I got the lead on the project from Terry Vinson after reading Bone Chills -- I thought, I can pull this off. Thank you Terry for making this happen.
Notes on Bite of the Spider.
The story is one that came off a woman who was haunted by a spider bite from her youth. Discovery Channel in the story comes in and document's her life after the events, along with a seperate crew for a reality show that heard about the incident. Hell becomes the reality when the horrors are documented before their eyes. This one was the second entry for the contest after House of Spiders was dropped from the competition (if one wants to read this story pick up a copy of Collectives In A Foresaken Landscape. That story is the one that can be read for free on the download sample there.)
Bio: Steven L. Shrewsbury,
Shrewsbury had multiple stories published but most notedly created the universe of Dack Shannon and Majestic Services. His book Bulletproof Soul is one that will mark his way into the world of dark literary masterpices. His work is found on The House of Pain; The Murder Hole, and Savage Night, and other places -- I will let him talk about where they can be found.

Wow Nickolaus as once agian come up with a great story. I love all his work. Sleeping after reading one of Nickolaus's stories is impossible. Creepy scarefest is what it's like to read his work at night. Good Luck Nick. JC Brinson-Untiet
Congratulations on being a part of this exciting anthology. Sounds like this book is going to be quite a collection for those of us who enjoy horror/suspense stories! Personally I am very fond of short story collections. Reading time is often limited for me and I love being able to read a story through from beginning to end. With a collection of this sort, one can carry the book along and read a story when they have a little time for reading. Look forward to seeing more of your work in print!
