WOW! Linda has written a fabulous story! I have tried to read suspense novels before, and ended up BORED! I had a good time reading and each chapter pulled me deeper into their lives. She had me believing everyone was a suspect and the outcome was not anyone I suspected murdered the Sheriff and his lover. The life of her characters and the town allows the reader to visualize the scenes as they occur. She gives personalities to her Southern ladies and the story line follows the path of suspense, deceit and a bit of humor added in. Her details and description bring her characters and town to life. Linda, you're writing talent shines in this book, and I look forward to her next one, The Crystal Pistol!
