As soon as I got this book I had to read it. I am a big fan of Cheryl's books. I found this one so different to her others and really loved the story line. I spent a relaxing afternoon reading it. What a wonderful surprise I got on how it ended. I loved it. Thanks Cheryl for another great read. I thoroughly recommend it to all.

This was the first book that I've read by Cheryl Wright and I wasn't sure what to expect. Even though this book was a little tamer than some of the books that I usually read I really liked it. I plan to read more from this author.

I am unsure if 'Deadly Debt' should be called a love/romance story or a mystery. I guess it could be called a mystery with a strong love-story. The story starts a little slow but there are well-written sections of a mystery and well-written sections of a love story. The love story sections are overly described, if that is possible, for the rest of the book, unless you set the mystery aside and call it a love story book. To me, the mystery sections and the love story sections never really come together. After the slow start, the two writing styles never mesh to combine the two themes. I would have appreciated more detail and reasoning/logic behind the character that was the center of the mystery section of the book.
The story isn't a bad story, it just doesn't flow with a lot of details lacking. As I said before, there are some excerpts of excellent writing, but the story just doesn't come together. Seems as if you are reading two story's, one mystery and one love story. I will consider reading additional work from Cheryl Wright.

The fast-paced storyline with its lack of explanatory narrative may annoy certain readers. While explicit reference to physical locales may ground readers, the payoff hides in one staying glued to the trials of a conflicted Felicity who may, in reality, live in any number of cities or countries. She is joined by a true-to-life hero and secondary characters dedicated to her well-being. The supporting cast brings charming depth to Felicity’s story.
Romance suspense readers will easily recognize common elements. Yet still be warmed by the character interactions, the nuance fullness, and the underlying emotional compassion that fills the pages of Deadly Debt.
A good, absolutely delightful romance story that is sure not to disappoint.
