It's almost Christmas. Lynn Basil is writing her last book about a secret entrance into the magical doll land of Sha Bebe that she loves so much. Bagannos have taken over the world! Lynn finally meets her dolls in real life. Can she write in a Secret Entrance to save the world from the Bagannos?
It's Christmas time, and Lynn Basil, author and doll artist, yearns to leave New Orleans and live in her magical doll land of Sha Bebe that she created. While she is typing her latest manuscript about a mysterious secret entrance into her home from the doll land, her story unfolds and she realizes how much hate and greed has taken over the world she lives in. The peaceful life she once knew has become a nightmare. Humans are insane for technology, especially cell phones, which leaves the bad humans with no compassion at all. They morph into the Bagganon creatures who look like the Rougarou that come from the swamps to take a bite of human flesh. Lynn is threatened by two Bagganons. This is when she sees her Blue Quizards come to life, flying overhead, along with three Cajun Fairies. This is the first time she sees her dolls come to life. They are always alive in her books. Is there a secret entrance into her home? It's Christmas, and she made a wish. Will her wish come true?

Excerpt
It was Lynn Basil's book signing day at the big library in New Orleans.
Lynn stood in front of her showcase of dolls. She picked Queen Faustina and Wizard Antoine to go with her for this book signing at the big library in New Orleans. In her pull luggage, she also placed the Blue Quizards. They were the children of The Queen and the Wizard. All of the dolls had a turn at every signing she attended, but she knew at this book signing, the children would be waiting to see the new Blue Quizards.
After her book singing:
Bagganons with no fangs were roaming around outside of the library along the side of the street. Lynn knew very well to stay away from them. They were all over the streets and all they did was disrupt other people’s lives who didn’t want any trouble. The ones with no fangs didn’t bite. They lived in a false state of reality, chasing dreams that they were never going to get because they had no motivation. All day long they stared into their phones.
They couldn’t hold down a job, so they stole to continue getting phones, iPads, and any new devices that came out on the market. In Lynn’s day, these people were called bullies, thugs, or hoodlums. It was so sad to see, but this is what the world had come to. On some streets, the living quarters looked like a war zone. The Bagganons with fangs lived in these areas. The ones with fangs were worse.
Bloodsuckers, like the Rougarou from the swamps. They never had money to keep up their own life, much less to live in their own home. They lived on the streets or any empty house they found. There was no peace.
There was an old road she needed to travel that was about a block long to get to another road that led to her home. All of a sudden, the old car ran her car off the road. There were no homes along this old road. Lynn was stunned and a little bit dazed when her head hit the steering wheel after she made a sudden stop.
Both of them ran to her car. The guy said, “Gimme da money you made in da library!”
He was dressed in dirty torn clothing and had piercings in his ears, nose, and lip. Rotten teeth. The girl was dressed in gothic clothing that looked worn out. The guy had a chain in his hand.
“Who are you?” Lynn managed to get those three words out before her head went down against the steering wheel from the pain.
“Never mind who I am, just gimme your purse. I know you have money in there. I was watching you through da big windows in da library. Get outta da car, lady!” He signaled the goth girl to get her out.
She pulled Lynn’s arm to get her out, and Lynn’s head fell on the ground. Her body stayed in the seat of the car.
“She’s out cold. Now what?”
“Get in da car and get her purse and let’s get outta here,” he told the goth girl in a rough voice.
“I got her purse. What about the lady?”
“Ah, just leave her there. She hit her head, and she never saw us. Let’s go.”
The luggage in the back seat began moving and making a growling noise. The guy looked in the back seat. “What’s she got here, a dog? We could use a guard dog.”
When he said that, the luggage began throwing itself violently in the back seat from one side of the car to the other. So much so, that the car was moving.
“What the heck is that?” said the goth girl.
“I dunno, but it ain’t a puppy. Let’s go.”
The zipper on the luggage unzipped quickly and out popped Princess Kira. With her invisible cloak, she began whipping it against the guy’s face and she hissed.
“What is that blue thing?”
“It’s one of them blue dolls she had at the table with her. I hate dolls,” said the goth girl. “They creep me out. Why is this one moving?”
Princess Kira flew on her magic camouflage blanket and took the camouflage bandanna she wore around her head and whipped the girl with it. It hit her so hard it sounded like a whip. POP. POP. The sound kept popping on her. Princess Maggie stayed inside the car.
“Do you like me to do this to you? This is what you do to other people? You beat them.” POP. POP. Princess Kira kept on.
“No! Stop it.”
“Then … you change your ways.”
The Queen and the Wizard got out of the luggage and opened the back door. The goth girl screamed and ran to the back of their car. “More dolls? I hate dolls! Why they walking?”
“Put Lynn’s purse back in the car and leave,” said the Wizard to the guy.
“Listen to this one! I’m not afraid of dolls like you,” he laughed. “Look, it’s only small dolls. I’m keeping her purse.” He began walking to his car. “It’s small dolls, girl. Since when you afraid of dolls?” he laughed.
The Wizard flashed a bolt of lightning from his hands. When it hit the back of the guy, he kept shaking until the Wizard stopped shocking him. “I said, put her purse back in the car and leave.”
“Give the purse back, dude! Can’t you see these dolls are creepy?” The goth girl was hysterical.
He got up, shook himself off and said, “I’ll put da purse back in da car, but I’m keeping da money.” He threw the purse at Antoine and rolled the money in his pocket and made a run for his car. “I did what you said. Come on girl, let’s get out of here. Hurry!”
