Trey Richard isn’t happy when he finds out the “family” reunion mostly consisted of relatives he hardly knew. . .but that his great grandparents would be there, as well.
It wasn’t that he didn’t love his great grandparents, he did, but to him, they seemed so old and fragile. . .so much so, that he feared to even hug them.
Papaw Jack had always felt a kinship toward his great-grandson, Trey. The boy reminded him a lot of himself at that age. . .perhaps that was the reason he understood why Trey kept his distance from him and his Granny. But Jack isn’t about to let another opportunity pass him by. He was going to get his great grandson’s attention.
