The force moved with a speed he had never seen before and took the shape of a tall broad potency which wheeled a sword of imminent destruction to each one it met. Screams sounded about Pearce’s ears drowning all other noise. He stood as if transfixed at the display of energy and slaughter which met his eyes. The force was a man, but such a man. This man gave no quarter and moved his large body as if flying. Pearce caught sight of the eyes, which glowed a fierce deadly threat yet seemed otherworldly in mien. The men, who with him surrounded their king, also stood enthralled, this wonder left none for them to fight. None had ever seen the battle awen so magically displayed. He took three and hacked them down, another two came running but shared the same fate. Three more came at him and this tireless warrior dealt them an equal doom as if he were the shadow of death itself.
