As the sun began to set, your tall thin shadow fell upon me.
Since early dawn, I followed your ghostly footprints of days gone by.
My weak heart quickened as I slowly retraced your steps.
Upon reaching our joining place, your tall thin shadow fell upon me.
Retreating, we walked hand in hand in the shadow of remembrance.
