John Harks is diagnosed with a mental disease after self-admitting to the psychiatric ward. He’s been having hallucinations.

       The hallucinations turn out to be real and John goes to the silver world (another dimension) where he meets the originals, beings that “seeded” the human race and are now dabbling in its affairs.

       Human agents of the originals surround John. They include Smits, a man with multiple personalities, Raymond, an out of work locksmith with paranoid fantasies, and Dr. Mills, John’s psychiatrist from the hospital. While it appears to everyone else that these people are acting normally, without an agenda, John begins to suspect them, especially when he finds a handgun belonging to Smits, whom he has taken in while the man looks for his own place.

       His hallucinations increase in severity and comprehensiveness until he reaches a decision point. He discovers that the world may not be as it seems...
