UNDER MY WINGS SOAR WITH ME
HOLD ON TIGHT YOU WILL START TO FEEL FREE
SOARING HIGH, BEYOND THE CLOUDS INTO THE SUN
UNDER MY WINGS YOU ARE THE ONLY ONE
IN WHICH I CHOOSE TO SHARE MY SPACE
I ADORE YOUR WEIGHT, I ADORE YOUR FACE
MY FEET ON THE GROUND, AS YOU SHARE YOUR HAND
I'LL SHOW YOU THE SKY, YOU SHOW ME THE LAND
TOGETHER WE MAKE A REMARKABLE PAIR
WHEN IT COMES TO UNITY, NONE CAN COMPARE
MY WINGS LOVE TO SPREAD AROUND YOU
AS YOU SHOW YOUR LAND AND WHAT TO DO
A PAIR OF LOVE DOVES THROUGHT OUT OUR DAYS
IN WONDER, IN HEALTH,IN HAPPINESS THROUGH THE HAZE
NEVER HAVE I FELT SO LIGHT AND FREE
ITS WHATS IN YOUR EYES, THAT YOU DO TO ME

I THOUGHT I COULDN'T MAKE LIFE ON MY OWN
YET HERE I AM, ALIVE AND WELL
I ALWAYS THOUGHT A MAN HAS TO SHARE MY HOME
I AM DOING FINE HERE, AS ANYONE CAN TELL
NO MORE HEADACHES, NO MORE PRETENDING
BECAUSE AGAIN, I AM ALIVE AND WELL
LIVING WITHOUT A MAN, FOR ME I AM WELL FENDING
BEING ALONE HAS BROKEN ME FROM MY SHELL
I THOUGHT I WOULD BE SCARRED AND LONELY
NOPE, ONCE AGAIN, I AM ALIVE AND WELL
MEN ARE MUSH, MOSTLY MADE OF BOLOGNA
WELL FOR MY CASE, THAT A SURE TELL
I AM HERE MAKING MY INDEPENDENT STAND
