Talk about your gimmicky book launch. Wangdi Gyalpo and Sonam Bhote have scaled Mount Everest and launched their book at the top of the world. Yes, of course, it’s poetry. A novelist would never have the lungs for that. Here’s an excerpt from a poem by Wangdi Gyalpo:
Those cozy and warm
arms of yours
that always gave
me warmth
and shelter during my woes
have now started
suffocating me.
That dark lustrous
hair of yours
which used to
arouse and
stir every hair of mine
have now started
itching and irritating me.
