Omnibus edition of two novels, Blood Hunt and Bloodlinks, featuring vampire cop Garreth Mikaelian
In Blood Hunt the murder of a visiting businessman in San Francisco leads Inspector Garreth Mikaelian to the beautiful and hypnotic Lane Barber. Only Lane is a vampire and soon Garreth finds himself one, too. Now he has the problem of learning to cope with his new existence and hide it from others while tracking down Lane. And he has to figure out how to bring to justice someone who cannot be kept behind bars, also without revealing the existence of vampires.
In Bloodlinks Garreth thinks he has come to terms with being a vampire. But then someone begins a killing spree by methods used for killing vampires. Garreth suspects the involvement of a centuries-old vampire but cannot tell anyone for fear of revealing his own vampirism, not even when he finds himself becoming the chief suspect.
Excerpt
He dreamed of death and Undeath. Inspector Garreth Mikaelian stood backed against the wall of an alley in San Francisco's North Beach, pinned by the hypnotic gaze of eyes glowing like rubies, unable to move. Red light glinted in the vampire's hair, too...not a beautiful woman, some distant part of him noticed, but she used her long, showgirl legs and mahogany hair to seem like one.
"You're going to like this, Inspector." She gave him a sultry smile. "You'll feel no pain. You won't mind a bit that you're dying."
Dallas attorney Stan Turner hates criminal law but has a propensity for attracting murder cases anyway. So, it's no big surprise when a simple attorney-ad-litem appointment in family court evolves into a complex murder trial.
Revenge is Fun series. Millions of dollars are missing from the Venice Canals HOA and so are the Vice President and Treasurer. Were they kidnapped? Where is the money? Twists galore and a surprise ending with humor along the way.
