Because of this peculiar affinity, the research supporting the book calls for a re-interpretation of Black American history, in general, and a re-interpretation of U.S. history, in particular.
Peculiar Affinity: The World the Slave Owners and Their Female Slaves Made is a monograph presenting the discovery of a major sexual and reproductive relationship between White men and Black women while both having appeared as a slave owner and a female slave. This discovery is based upon over 23 years of scientific research and analyses of a wide variety of data and data sources related to slave breeding and selective breeding of Black female slaves. The discovery is this very weird or, rather, peculiar socio-conomic dynamic expression of sex between two human bodies. These two bodies appeared as the South's slave owner(s) and his female slave(s). The intended result of this socio-economic dynamic expression was the over-all increases in the number of the slave owner's slaves. However, the un-intended consequence of this socio-economic dynamic and sexual expression actually manifested as the breeding and the manufacturing of the human body as Negro slaves, and as commodities at the same time.
With the use of a variety of 9 data sources and a variety of data analyses, the first discovery from the research is this peculiar affinity. This peculiar affinity is characterized by the sexual and reproductive relations between the South's slave owner and his female slaves. In its simplicity, this peculiar affinity was the actual breeding and manufacturing of the human body as Negro slaves and as commodities by the South's slave owners. Implemented in a wide-spread fashion, this peculiar affinity becomes a nexus of sex and reproduction that, eventually, had characterized southern slavery during the second slave era of the 19th Century. By the end of the U.S. Civil War and slavery, this peculiar affinity managed to breed and manufacture an estimated 8,000,000 human bodies having appeared as the children between the slave owners and their female slaves.
It is because of these children between the slave owners and their female slaves that the book concludes with a calling for a re-interpretation of Black American history, in general, and a re-interpretation of American history, in particular. That is, these childen were not African. Their fathers were White European men. The mothers of these children appeared as female slaves, American women, and appearing in a variety of colors and shades not having originated from Africa. In addition and just as importantly, U.S. family relations need to be redefined . The White slave owners and their female slaves, their children, the wives of the slave owners and their children were, in actuality, family. The slave owners having been the fathers of these 8,000,000 children, then these patriarchs of Black Americans in the U.S. today were not African.
