Are you an introvert who finds it hard to make and keep friends? Well this book is your pot of gold. It will help you identify your strengths and weaknesses as an introvert, so that you can go out and meet new people who may later become friends.

I hope you find the pages of this book inspiring and I wish you the best of luck in your search to finding new friends and keeping old ones!

“The Introvert’s Handbook On How To Make & Keep Friends As We Get Older” belongs in every introvert’s and extravert’s home.

This work has general appeal, especially for introverts or anyone who has had difficulty making or keeping new friends as they get older.
Everyone wants to be happy and have friends in their life right? Well if this is you then this book is for you. It answers many questions about how to make and keep friends as we get older.

As an introvert, I have been burdened by many challenges and throughout my life. Through the nurturing of my friends and family, I have been fortunate enough to not only live through these challenges, but have also been given the opportunity to share what I have learned.

Currently, I am in a great place in my life, full of life-time friends and family members who are always there for me. It took me quite a while to get where I am today because as a child and a young adult, I pulled away from other people, not knowing how self-destructive it could be.

For many years my introversion continued to worsen as the years went by. In 2001 I discovered my personality type by taking the Myers-Briggs personality test and researched ways to turn my life around to better suit my needs. During my research, I found bountiful ways to turn my life around by overcoming my weaknesses, and strengthen my love for life and the need to have other people in my life. Many of these discoveries I will share with you in this book and hope that you can use these ideas to help aid you in finding new friends and keeping old ones.

As Introverts, we have been conditioned to live up to what others have deemed as “normal” and many believe that most introverts are shy or conceded (mainly by extraverts). This is not the case at all.

Nevertheless, we have been forced to have this mental image of ourselves, which only worsens the situation. In turn it puts a lot of pressure on us to try meet up to the standards of extraverts for whom are the majority of the population. There is no doubt that we all want to be liked, loved and accepted, but how we perceive the world around us is very important in our personal development as human beings.

With this book, I hope to give you the knowledge to understand what it means to be introverted, and help you find ways to use your introversion to your advantage. This book is a tool that not only introverts can use, but anyone who is looking for ways to improve their friendships with others as well as finding new ones.

We all learn from others and through our own personal experience, so I can not take credit for creating these ideas, but my hope is that you will find this book both helpful and inspiring and will show you the joys of living abundantly with having good friends in your life.

Much love and peace to you all,
M. Watts
