“In reference to the book The Wishing Star, I observed many positive points. I liked how the length of the story was moderate (not too long and is adequate for a young reader). The book displayed expressive language, which helped stimulate the reader’s imagination. I also liked the positive message behind the story (i.e. respecting the environment). It would be a great book to use for Earth Day or recycling and conservation lessons at home or in school. Not to mention, the illustration in this book were eye catching and colorful.
