A collection of poetry and short fiction exploring the author's experiences as an inhabitant of both Toronto Canada and rural Oklahoma.
This book of poetry and short fiction explores the underlying emotions that are often kept hidden just below the surface. Inspired by such diverse locations as the darkened streets of downtown Toronto, the barren Wichita Mountains of Southwestern Oklahoma, and the hearts and minds of lonely observers, Surface Tension is a journey through the forbidden, the commonplace, and the lost. The text is illuminated and illustrated by photography by the author and his spouse, Christine H. Russell.
