Writing the poems in The Breadth of Love became my own method of self-help. My poetry helped me overcome depression. The more I wrote the better I began to feel.
When I started sharing my poetry, people began to call me "sunshine" and "a healer". My words have been called "inspirational" and have encouraged other people dealing with similar issues.

GOD'S STORE
I am a vessel filled by my creator
with marvelous gifts.
At times I pour them out generously.
At others-out sip by sip.
But at whatever the rate,
the gifts they do escape
and land in the midst of others
to absorb into their own.
As my spills are mingled with theirs
the seeds of higher creativity are sown.
The gifts-they do escape,
but my creator is oh so great
for he continues to replenish.
Yes his store of gifs is eminent.
The how and why Ill never know.
The when and where
I may attempt to tell.
The mind of God I cant arrest,
but mine he knows so well.
