I just wanted to tell you that I bought your book, “He Talks Funny,” and it made me cry. My son is the sweetest boy. I would say he is about 40% coherent to strangers and has sensory processing disorder and everything else that seems to come with apraxia. Sometimes people forget that kids with disabilities also have feelings so I just wanted to take this moment and thank you for writing the book to educate people about this disorder.

The addition of 'Normal Language Milestones' is a wonderful resource for parents, family members, and healthcare personnel.
This book is informative in explaining this speech disorder in children. The writing is extremely easy and understandable for any reader.
The mother and counselor's willingness to make one boy's camp experience the best it could be -- was truly the backbone of this publication.
It is refreshing to see a children's book explaining a disability lived with by so many which hopefully opens the door into conversations about apraxia and then into other disorders--speech or otherwise.
Books like this need to be EASILY FOUND in our schools. It is not enough that they are in a school library along with thousands of other books -- they have to be FOUND.
