This book is filled with poetry and informational text, along with photgraphs of the art installments on Detroit's famed Heidelberg Street. These whimsical art installations are constructed of cast off materials such as car hoods, doors, vacuum cleaners, stuffed animals, and toys.  The area is covered with multi-colored polka dots which represents the many colors of people coming together. The book highlights the messages of these artscapes which are situated on the street, in the trees, on the houses, and in the yards, free for all to enjoy.
