This is a great book for coaches to use for Track Running events. It covers all the fundamentals to improve kids skills. It offers some basic strategies for coaches.

This book has drills and exercise to build up kids sprinting, distance running, race walking and relay skills. They are all numbered for easy reference between coaches, runners and walkers. It has many "core training games" for coaches to use in breaking up long drilling practices. It also has some sample schedules to help coaches develop their practices.

Excerpt

"Many youth Track & Field coaches have asked me about easily identified drills they can use. This book is intended to be a supplemental book to my "Learn'n More About Track & Field" book. It is orientated more towards team coaches on youth teams rather than parents at home teaching fundamentals."
