Characters stay withyou
Every family has secrets and the Shaw family is no exception. Nicole Dunlap has brought her characters to life in a manner that I continue to think of them long after I have finished reading the story. Their flaws and strengths, their weakness and pride, the generosity and their greed; all of these things come together. I don't want to give the plot away, nor do I want to over-hype it. Simply put, I did not want to put the book down. It was a page turner for me. I can't wait for the sequel.

Definite Page Turner
I gave this book five stars because it had me from the first page. I felt like I was on a roller coaster ride and didn't want to get off until I got to the end. As you get deeper in the book, you begin to love and hate some characters. That's how caught up you get in them. You begin to feel for them and understand their emotions. I felt so bad for the mother and the daughter in this book. It makes you really think about forgiveness. What it means to forgive for not only others, but of yourself. I don't want to give away in details in this book because you have to read it word for word. You will not be disappointed!!

Oh the web we weave...
pleasantly surprised at how much I enjoyed it. All of the issues in this book stemmed from all the lies weaved.... so it kept me reading to see whether the truth would eventually win out.
