I was drawn to this because it has a beautiful cover - and then after I saw the blurb, I knew I had to read the entire book. Each story is based on a woman from ancient times - so it reads something like historical fiction, and yet each character is original and unique. Each story (there are five) tells about a romance between the heroine and her true love. They are beautifully written and fast paced - often filled with adventure and intrigue and battles. The love scenes are written with equal care and were so passionate - Kyara D`Paul has a true talent for writing romance! You will love these stories. My favorite was "Knight's Dream" - I was completely taken with Nicci, the young healer, and the man she falls in love with, the handsome and brave Michael. This made me believe in the romance genre once again!
