Kyara D'Paul a graduate of UTSA as a Bachelor of Arts in History has had many different jobs, including Being a Travel Agent, Movie Critic and Interpreter/Translator in both English and Spanish. but her desire to write was constant. As a child she quickly discovered that the Dark Ages and the Medieval Era fascinated her. From the time now called the Dark Ages through the Jacobite Rebelion of 1745 at Culloden Moor, in Scotland. She has devoted her life to the pursuit of knowledge of the Celtic/Gaelic/Pictish people's of Europe that have endured to this day. Whether residing still in their beloved Highlands or living a more urban life in the countries of the world, these people, descendants of the great Boudicca, the magnificent Conn of the hundred battles, the self sacrificing William Wallace all the way down the line to Rob Roy MacGregor and Bonny Prince Charlie to the present ruler; not to mention some of the European Royalty still in existence. They all in their unique way embody the resilience, strong will, beliefs, chivalry and romance that has been gifted to them by their ancestors. The Dark Ages and Medieval era has brought to life a time filled with danger, death and life struggles and many sad events that have made a strong Scotland, along with the Chivalry and Honor of the Highlanders, their love for the land and the protection of their families above all else. It is a great honor to belong to such a unique and special race, that of the Celtic/Gaelic People. Kyara is active in many magnificent writing groups. Whenever she is not at the computer or writing, she can be found surrounded by her loved ones, at the movies or sleeping cuddled with her beloved Dog, dreaming of that far away time she loves so much.
