This is the story of a young boy who finds it difficult to behave himself in school. He doesn’t like the consequences of his poor choice, though, and vows that he will be good from now on. While he does not always succeed in doing so, his efforts to behave are noticed and appreciated by all. This is a wonderful story written in lyrical rhyme and accompanied by beautiful illustrations.

Things were bad and it was not a good day;
instead of working I decided to play.
My teacher gave me warnings and told me to stop.
But I chose not to listen and stood up and hopped.
I don’t know what happened and why I misbehave.
I heard my teacher talking. She said it was attention I crave.
If that is the reason then I should be good for a while.
When I got home, my dad’s attention did not make me smile.
