Sara travels to Oxford for the summer between her college graduation and law school.

I'm Sara. I just graduated from college. My mom thinks I should "broaden my horizons" over the summer, so she sent me on a trip to Oxford. No, really. England. Beefeaters, Bobbies, the whole nine. Mom thinks college is supposed to be this cultural stew, an I'm the carrot. Well, I'm not a vegetable. Sometimes, I wonder if I'm even edible. It takes time to keep your grades high enough to get into law school, and that pretty much clamps the lid shut on the cultural stew. I didn't even have time for a boyfriend in college. So, okay, whatever. I'll do what Mom says. I don't have to tell her everything, right?

Excerpt

Sara didn’t really want to go. Her mother insisted, though, that Sara “broaden her horizons” after graduating from college, and before buckling down for law school. There really wasn’t anything else to do that summer, and Mom offered to pay for the whole trip. So, Sara was off to Oxford, to pretend to study law, and to try not to get into any serious trouble.

Slowly, Sara packed her two bags, not enthusiastically, but curious about what would happen on the trip. Sara had never really been away from home before. She attended a college in the town she grew up in, and Sara saved money by staying at home, or, more accurately, by staying at the library and sleeping at home. It didn’t make for the most exciting social life, which was okay, given that Sara wanted to keep her grades up for law school. The idea of being completely independent for the first time ever was appealing, and a bit scary. So, Sara packed, imagining what Oxford might be like.

She hauled her two bags out into the hallway, set them down, and said goodbye to her childhood bedroom. Just then, her father came out of his bedroom.

“Are you ready, kiddo?”

“Yeah. Could you give me a hand?”

“Sure.” Sara’s father grabbed the larger of the two bags, and let her lead the way down the hallway, and down the stairs, to the front door. Sara’s mother stood at the doorway with a bag of chocolate chip cookies, looking equal parts hopeful and sad. Sara smiled slightly at her mother, feeling a bit ambivalent herself.

They shoved the bags into the back of the car, and drove off to the airport.

“So, do you have any definite plans once you get there, Sara?” Mom asked.

“No, not really. I guess I just want to get settled, and take the place in a bit.” Sara had always been cautious, and at 21 years old, she was beginning to feel rather self-conscious about it. She’d had plenty of opportunities to explore, like the fraternity party….

The music was loud, and enveloped Sara. She felt a bit detached, as if she were losing control. It must be the alcohol, which was everywhere. Sara tugged at her mini skirt, which was a bit too tight, and felt herself stumble a bit, falling against the wall. She felt like she needed to pee, so she asked where the restroom was. They pointed her up the stairway, and Sara loped up the steps. When she reached the top, she realized she’d forgotten to ask which door was the bathroom. She looked around, and noticed a door slightly ajar. That must be it. She walked over, and opened the door, but when the hallway light shone into the room, she saw the dim outline of a woman, slowly undulating as she straddled a man’s cock, lost to the world, moaning, “Oh…God…Frank….fuck me….yeah, baby….” Sara stopped, staring, unable to take her eyes off the couple. She felt wetness between her legs. She touched her breasts, over her halter top, and felt her nipple harden…. The sudden sensation seared through her, straight to her pussy. Involuntarily, Sara cupped her wetness through her panties as she pinched her nipples. She was lost. She began, in her mind, to beg Frank to fuck her. She so wanted to feel a cock inside her. Her hand slipped past the waistband of her panties, and her finger slowly slid down her swollen slit. She felt her finger slide inside her as her thumb grazed her clit, rubbing in a slow, circular pattern. She heard the woman… “Jesus…fuck, yeah.Oh…Oooooohh…I’m gonna come!” Sara felt her insides begin to spin in on themselves, tightening, her pussy throbbing. Sara plunged a second finger inside, and thrust hard and fast, and suddenly felt her stomach clench…then clench again…and heat rushed from her neck to her pussy…mmmmmm…that felt good. The girl looked up, her eyes meeting Sara’s. The girl beckoned to Sara, but Sara felt her face flush suddenly, and she panicked, and ran.

When Sara became aware of her surroundings again, they were pulling into the airport parking lot. They grabbed the bags, trod through the baggage check-in, and then the interminable security line, and finally found the boarding gate. Sara’s father had insisted on going through security with Sara, so they could see her off “properly.” Sara’s dad was always doing things like that; Sara wondered if it was more important to her father to be proper than to be good. Sara’s mother was the one always encouraging Sara to do her best, and stretch herself. Sara wasn’t all that sure where she set, exactly, on the continuum from propriety to self-actualization, but it was time to err toward the latter end of the spectrum.

Sara settled into her seat, in the middle of a three-seat grouping on the window-side of the plane. The plane was larger than she’d ever seen, with three sets of three chairs in each row. Sara looked at all the other people coming on board, and wondered what their lives consisted of; were they happy? Content? Despondent? Self-deluded? Sara liked to analyze, and other humans were usually the subject of her analysis. Suddenly a dark-haired man in a startlingly smart-looking gray suit slid past her, and sat next to the window, studiously sliding his laptop out of its case, and beginning to type while he waited for the plane to board. Curious, Sara tried to glance at the screen peripherally, without any luck. She stood, pretending to fiddle with her overhead bag. The overhead compartment was a bit higher than she liked, and her jean skirt rode up her thigh, dangerously close to her panties. As Sara sat back down, her eyes met his, and Sara smiled sheepishly.

“Um…hi. I hope I didn’t bother you.”

“Far from it,” the man replied.

He stared into Sara’s eyes for longer than Sara was comfortable. Still, they were beautiful eyes; deep-set, intense, colored a light, fiery blue. Sara found herself unable to stop staring at them. As she eased back into her seat, the man held out his hand.

“Jack. Jack Galloway.”

She took his hand. It felt strong, powerful, assured.

“Sara. Sara Nance. Business or pleasure?”

“Business, I’m afraid. I’m off to London, to rescue a merger. How about you?”

“Pleasure, mostly. I’m off to Oxford, to study law for the summer.”

“You’re still in school, then?”

“Well, I just graduated undergrad. I start law school in the fall. Actually, my mom wanted me to go, to sort of expand my horizons.” The thought of expanding her horizons piqued her imagination just then, and she pictured Jack in a London hotel room, laying on a bed, cock in his hand, watching Sara as she touched herself.

“Sara?”

Sara startled, as she heard Jack calling her name.

“Coke or Ginger Ale? My treat.”

“Oh. Thanks. Um, I’ll try a Ginger Ale.” There were times when Sara wished she had a boyfriend.

Sara awoke as the plane was descending over London. It was dark out, and the lights of London were stunning. Jack offered to let Sara sit in the window seat. As he sat up to slide over, Sara slid in front of him, and felt his cock slide across her ass. Sara gasped quietly, as her heart quickened. She sat down, and glanced over, quickly. No ring on his finger.

The descent quickened, and Sara fastened her seatbelt. The lights of London simply sparkled, like nothing Sara had seen before. Maybe there was something to Mom’s idea of “expanding your horizons.” As she finished fastening her seatbelt, Jack leaned over toward Sara.

“Can I get you some dinner? I know a quaint little place near Covent Garden,” he whispered in her ear. The sensation of his warm breath on her ear was startlingly delicious to Sara. The intimacy it created almost scared her. She turned her head, and looked again into those beautiful, deep blue eyes. Momentarily silenced, she nodded slightly.

“Yes…yes, I’d like that,” she admitted.

“Good. Come with me.”

As the plane slowed to a standstill, Jack quickly grabbed his carry-on, and Sara’s, as well, and they quickly slid down the aisle into the airport. Jack moved more quickly than men Sara’d seen. He walked faster than Sara was used to, but she admired his …what was it? … intensity, maybe? Jack quickly rented a baggage cart, and they went to the baggage claim. Sara reached into her pocket to check for her bus pass, but Jack waved her off. He said he had rented a car. Sara walked with Jack as they trudged toward the car rental counter.

“Wait ‘till you see. I only took this trip because of the rental car the firm offered me.”

Indeed, it was quite a car. Jack said it was an Aston-Martin DB something-or-other, but it looked expensive, and when Jack opened the door for her, Sara realized she’d practically be lying down in the seat. Just more expanded horizons, maybe.

Jack was a good driver, and wound his way expertly through London traffic. It was obviously not his first trip here. They stopped at a sidewalk café, where a valet walked up and took Jack’s key. As they walked up the sidewalk, to the café entrance, Sara felt Jack’s body press against hers from behind. She felt his bulge against her ass.

Seated, Jack ordered wine for them – a merlot. Sara wasn’t any particular connoisseur, but it tasted good, and she was thirsty. Jack insisted on ordering for her – “pie and mash” he called it – and it was good. Sort of a soft beef burrito with hollandaise sauce instead of spices.

It was oddly refreshing for Sara that Jack seemed to anticipate her needs – offering to feed her, taking care of transportation, ordering for her. Sara wasn’t quite sure what to make of it, but at least it was pleasant.

As dinner wound down, Jack anticipated again. “So, where are you staying tonight, Sara?” he asked.

“Um…I don’t know. I hadn’t really thought about it,” Sara answered, honestly.

“Well, why don’t you stay with me? We could enjoy a lovely night in London.”

“Alright.” As soon as Sara spoke, she wondered to herself what he meant by a “lovely night.”

Silently, Sara walked beside Jack to the valet, and they drove off to an unknown hotel. Sara thought to herself whether Jack might be kidnapping her. She decided not, because … well, she wasn’t exactly certain. Expanded horizons can present dangers, or at least possible dangers.
