An unusual and engaging read!
This is another engaging read by Linda Lee Williams! Once again she magically brings all her characters to life. You'll get to know them, care about what happens to them and miss them all when the book is finished. There is just enough "detail" to make the story thoroughly believable. This is quite a feat since half the characters are vampires! I guarantee you'll end up loving the entire Slater family and want to know more about them! Fortunately for the reader, this is just the first in a multi book series.

An unforgettable book! Must read!
I have one word for this book...unforgettable. Old Town Nights is unlike any vampire romance I've encountered. Abby and Ambrose are such remarkable characters that you cannot help but adore them. The family dynamics in this story add a refreshing touch of normalcy. This book will make you question the way a paranormal romance should read. Linda Lee Williams' approach to the genre is touching and incredibly compelling.

Abby is a realtor with a pretty unsatisfying life until she meets Ambrose, who harbors his own hunger for her. Williams immersed me, as a reader, so fully into the story that I couldn't climb my way out. She made me care about the characters. I'll say it again. This book is completely unforgettable. You just have to read it!

Addictive!
BEWARE! "Old Town Nights" is habit forming. I admit to being enthusiastically (and impatiently) awaiting Book 2 or this 4-part hybrid-vampire series.

I loved this book! Linda Lee Williams is a consummate storyteller. Highly imaginative, she is fearless in her choice of plots. The storyline for OTN is unique and non-formulaic. It has one foot in the vampire genre and the other squarely in contemporary romance. The Slater family of vampires are "hybrids," human in every way except for an extra pair of teeth and a few perks. Vampirism is integral to the plot, but at its heart, it is a love story. The setting is Old Town, Chicago, where you expect the unusual. The characters have depth and are believable. The near fatal attraction of Ambrose Slater (a gentle vampire with a conscience), for Abby Lawrence (a spunky, human, redheaded realtor) ignites the conflict. His uncharacteristic action in Chapter 1 wracks him with guilt and seals his fate. As with Abby, the reader will find the colorful, multi-generational Slater family irresistible.

If I had my way, the entire series would be available today, so I could read the story consecutively like a "mini series." Hurry up, Linda. I need my fix!
