Amazing Book!
It was a lucky day for me and the children I read to when I discovered "The Heebie Jeebies." I was not familiar with the phrase, but it is a perfect expression for the daily problems experienced by this little boy. Children responded immediately to the rhymes and rhythm of the story. One little boy said "This sounds like rap-" Would the writer appreciate that? If not, I feel sure she would appreciate that the children were even clapping to the musical words in her story. This is a refreshing, stimulating book for young children.
