Chuck Swaim was born and raised in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, and currently resides in Olympia, Washington. This is his first published book of poetry. The poems contained in Of Silent Freedom were written between 1989-2010. Chuck's poems are mostly dark in nature. This book is a study of his composing poems in the night and day.
