Isabella Fumiatti has a good life. She works in Boston as Director of Cross Promotions for The Sports Network, travels all over the country going to MLB games, and lives between her city apartment and Cape Cod beach home. Izzy, short for Isabella, has a close knit Italian family for round the clock support. The one thing she is missing is love. The problem she has is she is still stuck on her reason for moving to Boston in the first place, then boyfriend pitcher Bobby Harrington.

Bobby Harrington, newly re-acquired pitcher for The Red Sox has it all on the surface too. Money, fame, smoking good looks yet he is missing the one part of his life he let go of years before, Izzy. Harrington was traded back to Boston in the middle of a heated race for first place. He needs to concentrate on his game although his ulterior motive for choosing Boston is to win back Izzy’s heart.
