Just Do It! - The poems of 2016
This has been a hectic, worrisome year and one which has flown by with unrelenting speed. Finding time and inspiration for poetry has been challenging. Sometimes I had to "just do it"... force myself to sit down and write from my thoughts, imagination, or a prompt from WritersDigest.com. My thanks to George Smith for forwarding those prompts to me daily every April and November. And still, I left so many unwritten! My thanks also to Lynn Heimerle for allowing me to use her photo on the cover of my latest book. As 2016 draws to a close, all I can say is, with God's help, maybe next year I'll "just do it" again.
