“If you need anything you just dial zero on the phone over there. It will call the front desk. Either I or Bonnie will be there.”
“There’s just one problem.” Nate halted her exit with her words.
Confused, she turned. “What’s that? Did I forget something?”
“No. I did.”
He walked toward her with intention, his gaze never leaving hers.
Her eyebrows arched questioningly, not understanding.
“What is…” she never finished her question as he reached her.
His hands gently clasped her cheeks as his head bent toward hers.
Her breath caught. His intention now clear.
