After what seemed an eternity, a tall man in his early thirties dropped into the chair behind the desk. He continued scribbling on a pad for another few minutes while Jessie watched. Finally, he stopped writing and raised his eyes slowly as if just realizing she existed.
Jessica couldn’t help staring. She had left on her sunglasses for the small sense of security and privacy they provided. Jessica hoped he didn’t notice her rude stare from behind them, but he looked so darn attractive. The eyes gazing at her were the startling, clear blue of a summer lake under a cloudless sky. His dark brown hair and thick eyebrows provided the perfect frame for those eyes. A slightly bushy mustache almost hid a small scar on his upper lip; his lower lip appeared full and sensuous.
He raised one eyebrow at Jessie. “Yes?”
“I...” She cleared her throat. “I’m looking for Detective Lansing,” she managed to get out. Between her original apprehension and being floored by this tall, dark, and sexy hunk, Jessica wondered how she could say anything at all.
“I’m Lansing. What can I do for you?” he asked in a slow, deep drawl.
'Oh, no, what do I do now? He’s drop-dead gorgeous and I have to tell him I “see” things.' “Story of my life,” Jessie muttered under her breath.

First Time Reading This Author
I must say I really enjoyed this book. I do hope there will be more. I believe if you continue with these characters and have them become a team working with the FBI or other police groups, they could be ranked up there with Cornwell,Sandford,Patterson and Hooper.

Excellent book, I really enjoyed reading this book. It holds your interest from beginning to end, it has a great story line and a wonderful ending. I highly recommend reading this book.

Just what I wanted from a paranormal romance with psychic as center of attention. It kept me wanting more and will read any of Rebecca J. Vickery's books. It keeps you on edge of your seat with constant happening about lost children and will she find them on time with a twist at the end.
