I write to connect the natural world with the spirit world. The images of nature provide a bridge for the imagination and a leaping off place for the spirit.
All is God, whoever that is or whatever that means.

If the pines
keep their silence,
who can know
the secrets
of the wind?
The cry of a gull is lost on the ocean's breast.
A seedling dances the air.

I haven't read the book, but the excerpt is really beautiful.
Each person is but a grain of sand resting beside the sea. This thought sets the tone for Jill Eisnaugle’s latest poetry collection, Beside Still Waters.
