Missy Mack is a tomboy wanting to fit in. She’s tired of being treated like a fly and only given attention when her neighborhood girl friends have nothing else to do. To add to the stress, her parents are old school; no internet and no cell phone. At times, Missy has nightmares of a ghost driving a tractor across the street from her house digging for something in the field. The dreams become more frequent, and one day, when Missy wakes up, she sees a real backhoe moving in the field. The field is empty of crop so something must be hidden deep in the ground.
