It is his wish to present a different perspective, and he does so by using well-known characters, like Jack (and the Beanstalk), the Tortoise and the Hare, and Barbie. He also contemplates the meaning and power of technology in today's society. He occasionally tries to offer a positive message to readers, and yet at other times, there is an underlying tone of sarcasm, perhaps even cynicism, in his writing. Ultimately, he wants to make you think about the issues that matter, the issues you may not have time to think about in your everyday life.

Great poetry collection
Happy to come across this book as the frog on the cover caught my eye. Fun to read and I love Jennifer's sense of humor. "Hero" is my favorite and it completely twisted my childhood memory of the story "The Tortoise and the Hare".

Highly recommended if you are looking for a short read.

Who would have ever thought that simple everyday topics could be given so much life and be so humorous! These poems are definitely not from the bottom of a well, they are top class!

I'm normally not a big fan of poems, but I was pleasantly surprised by how enjoyable this book was. With Jennifer's unique perspective and wit, even the most ordinary things came to life. Poetry lovers or not, you will not be disappointed.
