“It was exhilarating, the first time I killed someone. I was young, but I’d been wanting to do it as far back as I could remember.” She was calm. She hadn't been sure she would be.
“How old were you your first time?” The Psychologist probed.
She shrugged. “Eight.”
“Who was it?”
“My baby cousin. I put the pillow over her face until she stopped moving.”
“It felt good?”
“Yes. All that baby did was cry. And I never even got caught.”
“How old are you now?”
“Seventeen.”
“And how many people have you killed?”
“Thirteen.” What was that look she was seeing on his face? Shock? Disgust? It didn't matter. “I've killed thirteen people.”
