Short Story Carnivore Showcasing Books
The whole book is one action tome of adventure and fantasy. A spiraling monstrosity of imaginative wonderment that works in so many ways. I had fun with this book. I felt the deep imagination on page. I was there, yes that is cliched also, but I cannot help but say it, that is how professionally written this action fantasy is, it places you there.
This is a book that clearly will be a part of a series, but with that said you can read this one alone and still be satisfied and concluded. Scott made a world, personas and situations that linger deep in the wonderful imagination of the reader's mind. This is a book that I feel any lover of action fantasy, YA and so on will utterly read this and become an instant fan. I am an instant fan of Scott's. This is his debut novel and for a debut, it is a wonderful experience that I feel has a high-class expertise around it. He writes like a veteran.

I loved this book. I instantly got hooked and couldn't put it down. I'm a busy mom so the quick chapters were perfect for me. I finished this in 2 sittings after I put the kid to bed. I have been looking for a martial arts/sci-fi/fantasy/sword fighting book to get lost into and this was perfect. Lots of action and blood! I'm not usually one for the Religious conflict between good and evil but I loved the grit of this story. I also really enjoyed the Texas setting! I've never read a book set in Texas and it was so fun to be able to connect to the environment the characters were in. Its a good read.

This is an amazing story that takes you into a post-apocalyptic world where humanity has lost all hope and the fight between good and evil weighs favorably towards the latter. This book has incredible character development and even more incredible imagery. You will definitely find yourself side by side with HIM as he battles. I can't wait for the next book!
