Olive the Green Dream Train invites Danielle and Nina to come with her to plant special trees that can heal the atmosphere better than other trees can. A mysterious angel guides them, and the Dark Phantom tries to mess everything up again.
When a mysterious angel appears to Danielle and Nina one night, they find themselves invited to participate in a task that Olive the Green Dream Train always leads.
Every few years, she and a few Dreamers take the golden saplings to certain areas of Earth and plant them, enabling them to reverse the effects of climate change and shield other trees around them.
But just as they start to prepare, the Dark Phantom shows signs of returning to mess up their plans again. And the question on everyone’s mind is who is Danielle and Nina’s guardian angel?
Excerpt
“Okay, we’ve got a lot to do this year then,” said Olive. “Since you kids are Canadians, what do you say we take these trees to your home and native land?”
“Oh, sure!” said Nina excitedly. She looked at Emma and said “Will you be able to take us?”
Emma didn’t say anything. She was still staring at the angel and her eyes were even wider than Olives’. “I’m sorry, what did you say?” said the Yellow Dream Train as she came around.
“I asked if you could take us to where these trees need to go,” said Nina.
“I don’t know,” replied Emma. “Olive here did say that she was the leader of this little climate change battle. Maybe she’s the one to go with this time.”
“Okay,” said Danielle. But she sounded a little hesitant, and Nina guessed why.
“Are you worried that Azeem will want in on this and the two of us will rub each other the wrong way?” she asked. Danielle nodded. Azeem Smith was a green dreamer who wanted to be the best. But Nina had beaten him at Pirates’ Treasure many times which had caused a bit of a rivalry between them.
“Well, I don’t think you’ll have to worry about that,” said Olive. “He wasn’t particularly interested in this anyway.” Then she continued explaining their task. “Once these saplings get big enough we will set off with a handful of them to wherever they are needed in Canada. Each species will have to go in a different place and unless all the species are planted, they won’t be as effective as they ought to be.”
