Nneka J. Howell also known as Lady Poet was born on May 17, 1990 on the south side of Chicago, IL. Nneka is currently a sophomore at the University of Illinois in Champaign-Urbana, IL. She plans to continue to use her writing as a stepping stone for others. When it comes to what she writes, her number one mission is to reach others so that someone else may be inspired by her creative works. She believes that poetry is more than just words, but a blessing in disguise that many tend to push aside. To her, poetry is a key to one s heart, and the directions to inspiration.
