I have been writing since a young child. Coming up abused like I did, I looked toward writing as My Savior, it literally saved me. There, I was transported to another world where I was free from harm's way; clear from the cruelty that followed me on a daily basis. When either reading or writing my own stuff, I was safe in the wings of words that cupped me in a world that wanted only to crush this little girl so I look upon writing to this day as a mortal Lifeline. It must flow like some fish in the sea must swim, or die...I chose to live in the embrace of Poetry.

What does Ragdoll Chronicles mean, you ask? Growing up abused, the word “ragdoll” has, sadly, much symbolic meaning for me, i.e., “lifeless as a ragdoll,” “beaten like a ragdoll,” etc. So Ragdoll, for an abused child, has a myriad of connotations. Now I am a grown woman and I feel that I am a survivor, no longer a victim. But that ragdoll-child still lives within me, lying dormant in frozen pain. I am considered a dark poet. I am often channeled from spirit animals or people trying to get a message through—hence, this explains my often uncanny ability to be able to write on subject matters and emotions once totally foreign to me.
